Within walking distance of this home you can wander to feed the local rock wallabies at the Bremner Point headland on Geoffrey Bay, bid on a cane toad on a Wednesday night at the infamous toad races at Hotel Arcadia, visit the bowls club or local markets, take in the view from the Gabul walkway and just enjoy island life!

Ahhh The Serenity
Vicki & - 30th NovemberThis beautiful little slice of Magnetic Island was just perfect for us. Nope, its not going to be for you if you want all the bells and whistles but if you are like we are, its ideal. Think 1970's. The bathroom isn't great, there's no wifi and the beds are hard - but - there is a big, fat duck that wanders over, curlews, cockatoos, kookaburras, wallabies and all manner of beautiful creatures to welcome you. Its an easy stroll to the beach, just past a fabulous coffee shop (The Drop Bear), the Tavern with amazing dinners and friendly locals and we enjoyed the walk into town.Seriously, its charming but that's not for everyone. If you want glitter, stay at the resort but we miss it enormously and will certainly return.
Lovely old style beach house
Karin - 30th NovemberThis is a great beach house, Terrific quiet location, wind protected, terrific pool. It's not 5 stars and can use some upgrades like it's bathroom, mattresses, wifi etc but overall we had a brilliant stay and it's everything we needed.

Cosy Beach Shack!
Kiana - 30th NovemberWe booked OurBonnieDoon for our Easter long weekend traditional family holiday and it was lovely, it was neat, cosy and all we needed for a weekend at the beach. Besides being a fair walk from the Alma Bay beach it was only walking distance to shops, cafes and Geoffrey Bay beach. We would definitely recommend this place and would definitely stay there again.
